ACOUSTIC MUSIC NIGHT
Acoustic Music Night 1

In the fall of 2003, we saw the need for an ACOUSTIC MUSIC forum in the Wichita area, so we began our once a month acoustic music jam.  Dedicating this monthly event to the memory of JUST JAKE (Jerry Nicholson)  and all of his wonderful music.  This open music forum is held on the second Saturday of every month. Everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a total sensory evening in the country, under the stars, by the campfire, listening to wonderful acoustic music, or perhaps your idea of heaven is to be playing the music and not just listening.  At Grandma’s Farm, we have the very best of both pickers and grinnersThe music starts about DARK-THIRTY and runs until the cows come home, so be sure to bring your instruments and some snacks to share.

See YOU around the campfire.

Grandma’s Farm asks for a $5.00 donation.  This is to help the farm grow. More activities will be developed through your support.

INTENDER'S CIRCLE

THE INTENTION PROCRESS

The Intenders of the Highest Good has always been a casual group.  From the very beginning we never made any rules or charged any dues.  We didnt have a membership for people to join and there werent any positions of leadership to fill.  We came together in friendship, and with an earnest desire to help each other.  We wanted to be happy and to find a way to make our livers more fulfilled.  Tony Burroughs.

As we become Mighty Manifesters  we become more aware that, our thoughts are in us to be fulfilled, our thoughts create our world, and last but not least, we intend that all our thoughts, words, and deeds serve the highest and best good of the Universe, ourselves, and everyone everywhere.  So be it and so it is!

CURRENT REMODELING PROJECT
The CLUB HOUSE

Since the beginning of Grandma’s Farm in 2002, we have used the tractor barn for many of the activities held at the farm. The tractor barn was built in 1945; and, for over 55 years, it was used to store the farm’s tractors and as the place where the watermelons and cantaloupes were sold.   Although the rustic environment has been functional for the activities so far, we realize that in order for Grandma’s Farm to expand and offer more classes and events, we must have a multi functioning building complete with modern facilities.

Clubhouse Now

We have begun remodeling the tractor barn into the CLUB HOUSE at Grandma’s Farm. Along with the transformation from a barn into a building, we are including an addition that will house a restroom and the MERCANTILE, the farm’s retail shop.

With the completion of the Club House, we will have the awareness-raising example of the building itself as well as a large open classroom for all the farms events and the NATURAL LIVING INSTITUTE’S educational activities.

To accommodate the varied classes and activities, there will be a complete kitchen and stage area with all the equipment and sound system necessary for a multimedia presentation, concert, or an evening of relaxation.

When the farm is not using the Club House, it will be available for rent by individuals and groups.

Clubhouse Plans
We anticipate this project will take some time to complete.  Click HERE to find out how you can help with this and all of the other projects that Grandma’s Farm will be working on in the future. . .
